The American Advertising Federation (AAF) Silver Medal Award recognizes individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the advertising community. Every year, AAF clubs across the country bestow this national honor upon members who further industry standards, creative excellence, and responsibility in areas of social concern. This year’s recipient of the AAF Nashville Chapter Silver Medal Award is Patty Dondeville, iostudio’s VP-Operations.
Dondeville’s advertising career is highlighted by notable achievements across several industry disciplines where she always served with distinction. As an operational expert, Patty has guided individual careers, agency growth, and kept our AAF Nashville chapter vibrant and relevant.
It’s not hard to find praise for Dondeville among her clients, vendors, co-workers, and the greater Nashville advertising community.

Testimonials of a True Industry Leader
Lisa Shock, President of iostudio, says iostudio has benefitted from Dondeville’s expertise and believes this recognition is well earned, saying, “With 30 years of driving success for business owners, creative teams, and clients, Patty is exceptionally deserving of the Silver Medal Award. From scaling companies from 10 employees to hundreds to transitioning from job jackets to project management software, Patty’s industry expertise and leadership have been indispensable. We are thrilled to celebrate this well-deserved recognition of her remarkable contributions to our industry.”

Tom Woodard, former President of AAFN, says, “A lot of agencies wouldn’t be here today if it weren’t for Patty Dondeville. In fact, Patty took a bunch of crazy people under her wing and almost singlehandedly rekindled the AAF [Nashville chapter].” Mitch Powers, Co-Founder of iostudio, shares, “Creative professionals have more freedom to excel at what they do best when they know they can count on strong production and operational support. I have certainly made promises to clients that ended up being great successes all because of Patty’s expertise.”
